Final Verdict

On paper these are near twins: native 1080p, an LED light source, a built-in battery rated for about a full movie, auto focus and keystone, and Google TV with licensed Netflix on both. The real split is picture versus sound. The Halo+ is clearly the brighter projector, even allowing for XGIMI rating in ISO lumens and Anker in ANSI lumens, so it holds up better on a bigger image or when the room is not fully dark. The Mars 3 Air answers with larger Dolby Audio speakers that fill a patio without a separate Bluetooth speaker. Brightest image from a battery: Halo+. Better built-in sound for outdoor movie nights: Mars 3 Air.
